Electrical Training Instructor
Burgess Hill outskirts with free parking available for all staff on site. Due to workplace location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport
Full time permanent role - Monday - Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only)
Salary £45000-£50000 plus good pension scheme and 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

Working within a modern training environment, you will support learners through classroom teaching, practical workshop sessions, workplace assessments and NVQ portfolio reviews.

The role - Electrical Training Instructor
You will be a qualified electrical professional who enjoys sharing your knowledge and supporting others to succeed. Whether you are already working as an Electrical Instructor, Electrical Assessor or an Electrical Trainer, we would love to hear from you.
Duties and responsibilities include:

Deliver engaging electrical training in classroom and workshop environments
-
Assess learners against industry standards and qualification requirements
-
Conduct workplace assessments both on-site and remotely via Microsoft Teams
-
Review, assess and support NVQ portfolios
-
Provide guidance, feedback and mentoring to learners
-
Maintain a safe, organised and professional training environment
-
Ensure training delivery meets awarding body and compliance requirements
Experience, skills and competencies required:
-
Fully qualified Electrician with relevant industry qualifications
-
Experience delivering electrical training to Level 3 standard
-
Experience delivering City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications
-
Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent)
-
Teaching qualification such as PTLLS, Award in Education & Training, Certificate in Education or equivalent
-
Excellent communication and learner engagement skills
-
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
-
Positive, professional and customer-focused approach
Desirable not essential:
-
Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification or experience
-
Experience within further education, apprenticeship training or private training providers
