Casanovas Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading further education and skills provider to appoint a Director of Construction and Building Services.
This is a key senior leadership role with real scope to shape the future of construction, building services, apprenticeships and commercial training across a multi-site organisation.
We’re looking for an experienced education or skills leader who knows how to get the best from people, improve performance and build strong relationships with employers and industry.
The Role
Reporting to the Deputy Principal, you will lead the Construction and Building Services Directorate, with responsibility for:

Curriculum development, quality and learner outcomes

Full-time programmes, apprenticeships and commercial provision

Leading and developing Heads, Coordinators and curriculum teams

Performance, budgets and resource management
-
Employer and industry partnerships
-
Safeguarding, health & safety and quality standards

Supporting wider organisational strategy and growth
About You
You’ll be an established senior leader from further education, training, apprenticeships or the wider skills sector, with experience of managing curriculum teams and full-time and apprenticeship provision.
You’ll bring strong leadership skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders, employers and industry partners.
Preferable/ essential:

Relevant degree or professional qualification

Level 5 teaching qualification

Level 2 literacy and numeracy

Senior leadership experience within education, training or skills

Experience managing full-time programmes and apprenticeships

Strong people, performance and communication skills
Desirable: Postgraduate qualification and/or construction or building services experience.
