Temporary Role in Thurleigh, Bedford
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Inspector to join their dynamic workshop team in Thurleigh, Bedford. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure that vehicles meet the highest standards of safety and quality, all while working under the guidance of a supportive supervisor and Workshop Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine assigned vehicles to assess if safety or service work is required.
Document all recommended work on the assigned repair order.
Conduct road tests to accurately determine necessary repairs.
Perform comprehensive diagnoses and repairs on vehicles.
Assist fellow technicians with vehicle diagnosis and repairs.
Manage other ad-hoc bookings as required.
Skills and Expertise:
A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Inspector or Technician is essential.
Hold a full UK Driving Licence with the ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
A passion for the motor industry and a commitment to delivering work to the highest standards set by customers.
Capable of working independently and making informed decisions when necessary.
Excellent attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
