Fabricator – MIG/TIG Welder
£29,640 – £31,616 per year
£15.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
38 hours per week - Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:45pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch break
This is a Permanent role and you will employed directly by the client. Concept Recruitment are the introductory service only.
We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator with MIG & TIG welding experience to join a busy engineering/manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing

MIG & TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminium

Fabricating and assembling metal components
-
Working from engineering drawings
-
Cutting, grinding and preparing materials

Checking finished welds for quality

Carrying out repairs and rework when required

Keeping tools and equipment maintained

Working safely and to production deadlines
What we’re looking for
-
Previous MIG & TIG welding experience

Fabrication experience
-
Ability to read engineering drawings

Good knowledge of workshop tools and equipment

Strong attention to detail
-
Able to work independently and as part of a team
A welding/fabrication apprenticeship would be an advantage, but experience is more important.
