Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Salary: Minimum wage plus commission
Location: Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm, with a 4.30pm finish on a Friday

Red Rock Consultants are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Birmingham.
You don't need previous recruitment experience - we're open to candidates from all backgrounds. However, a background in sales, business development, customer service, retail, hospitality or another target-driven environment would be a great advantage.
This is a sales-focused role, so if you enjoy picking up the phone, building relationships, winning new business and working towards targets, this could be a great opportunity to build a career in recruitment.
THE ROLE
- Making outbound calls to prospective clients and developing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates
- Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads
- Speaking with businesses to understand their recruitment requirements
- Winning new vacancies and developing existing client accounts
- Advertising vacancies and sourcing suitable candidates
- Managing candidates through the recruitment process
- Negotiating and closing deals
- Working towards individual and team targets
- Developing your knowledge of recruitment, sales and business development
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Confident, bubbly and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport
- Comfortable speaking to people on the phone
- Driven, ambitious and motivated by achieving results
- Resilient and able to handle rejection
- A genuine interest in sales and business development
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Recruitment experience is not required - full training will be provided
