I'm working with a growing building services contractor delivering M&E projects across commercial and public sector environments. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Health, Safety & Quality Advisor to join their team.
Based in Bolton with regular travel to sites, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the business, supporting operational teams and helping drive high standards across health & safety and quality. Offering £40,000 - £50,000, the role provides genuine development and progression within an expanding organisation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections, audits and quality assurance checks
- Advise project teams on H&S compliance and best practice
- Review RAMS and support compliance across projects
- Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations
- Monitor training, PPE, plant and occupational health compliance
- Produce reports and track corrective actions through to completion
- Support ISO management systems, including internal ISO 9001 audits
- Review quality documentation, handover records and snagging items
- Identify non-conformances and drive continual improvement initiatives
What They're Looking For
- Experience in health & safety, quality, construction, building services or a similar environment
- Knowledge of ISO management systems would be advantageous
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
