Purpose:
Following resignation of the current storekeeper, there is now a permanent vacancy available for dedicated storeman at the SPENW Stockport depot
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for meeting customer satisfaction and be the interface between SPENW staff and TVS
-
Specific daily tasks in line with good depot stock management process
-
Regulatory stock counts, reporting and management of stock profile within the depot stores
-
Following of safe methods of working in line with risk assessments and safe systems of work
-
Ensuring that the storage media is issued in line with process controls and that the depot stores are managed in such a way as to maximize security and stock control
-
Responsible for maintaining good standards of 5,s and housekeeping at the stores
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
-
Must have current clean driving licence
-
Hold MHE counterbalance licence as a minimum requirement
-
Knowledge of warehousing/stock management systems
-
Demonstrate good numeracy and literary skills
-
Good attendance
-
Broad knowledge of warehouse activities and systems
-
Specific system and job training will be part of the successful applicant’s induction program.
