Duties:

IT Business Systems Analysis work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including:
Identifying and analysing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives
Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
Translating business requirements into application requirements
Level: An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities typically include:

Works independently with general supervision.
Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Skills:

Relevant previous experience in Business Processes
Experience of collaboration cross functional team working
Strong stakeholder management skills
Sets high standards for written materials and diligently follows them personally and holds others to account to achieve
Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements
Support business initiatives utilizing Project Management expertise
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Serve as the conduit between the business units/departments and IT teams through which requirements flow
Liaise between the business, technology teams and support teams
