We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy repairs and maintenance team, carrying out responsive repairs and general maintenance across social housing properties in and around the Peterborough area.

The Role
As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties. You will work independently across the Peterborough area, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within social housing properties.
Completing carpentry and joinery repairs.
Undertaking general multi-trade maintenance as required.
Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repair solutions.
Working directly in residents' homes in a professional and respectful manner.
Completing work orders and recording relevant information accurately.
Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety requirements.
Maintaining company standards and delivering excellent customer service.About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Multi-Trade Operative who has a strong background in carpentry or joinery and is confident carrying out a range of general repairs.
The sucsessful Multi-Trade Operative will ideally have:
A recognised qualification in Carpentry or Joinery.
Previous experience working in repairs and maintenance.
Experience within social housing, housing associations or a similar environment is desirable.
Good practical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A professional approach when working in residents' homes.
A full UK driving licence.
