Job Title; Industrial Sewing Machinist
Salary; £29,469 per annum
Shift; Weekly Rotating shifts: 5.45am-1.45pm Mon-Fri AND 1.45pm-10.15pm Mon-Thur and 1.45pm-7.15pm Fri
Location; Loughborough
We are recruiting for an Industrial Sewer to join a busy manufacturing site in Loughborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high quality products whilst being able to work within a fast-paced environment.
The Industrial Sewing Machinist Role;

Operate industrial sewing machines (Seiko Industrial Lockstitch) to assemble, repair, or customise products according to specifications.

Ensure all sewing tasks are completed with precision, maintaining high quality standards throughout production.

Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform basic maintenance to minimise downtime.

Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to quality control procedures.

Maintain organised workstations, ensuring tools and materials are readily accessible for efficient workflow.

Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of material needs.
The Industrial Sewing Machinist Candidate;

Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Proven sewing skills with experience operating industrial sewing machines.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, or technical instructions clearly.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good physical stamina; able to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks comfortably.

Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Basic understanding of safety procedures relevant to manufacturing environments.
