What kind of person are we looking for?
You may already have experience in adult learning, training, education, business development or employer engagement, although this isn’t essential.
What matters most is that you’re someone who:
-
Is friendly, confident and approachable
-
Enjoys talking to different people and building relationships
-
Is organised and good at keeping on top of things
-
Has a good eye for detail
-
Is comfortable checking information and paperwork
-
Can work on your own but also enjoys being part of a team
-
Is confident explaining courses and opportunities to others
-
Likes solving problems and getting things done
-
Is happy travelling around Wiltshire for meetings and events
A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role.
Experience of further education or funded training would be great, but it isn't essential.
Why this role matters
Adult learning can change lives.
The work you do could help someone gain a qualification, learn a new skill, find a better job, change career or simply give them the confidence to try something new.
You’ll also help local employers find the skills they need and help communities across Wiltshire access the learning and opportunities available to them.
So while there’s plenty of admin involved, this isn’t just an office job.
It’s a chance to meet people, build partnerships, come up with new ideas and help make things happen.
Ready for your next opportunity?
If you’re organised, people-focused and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Grow opportunity. Build partnerships. Support adult success.
Closing date: 24/09/26
Vacancies may close early if sufficient applications have been received; therefore, we would encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
