About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing and production environment. This is a varied role involving the safe movement of stock, materials, and finished goods throughout the site, as well as supporting production teams to maintain efficient workflow.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors and will play a key part in ensuring materials are delivered to the right locations safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Load and unload delivery vehicles.
Transport materials, components, and finished products around the site.
Supply production areas with required materials to maintain workflow.
Carry out stock movements within warehouse, workshop, and yard locations.
Ensure materials are stored correctly and safely.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping across work areas.
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
Support the wider team with general yard and warehouse duties when required.
Skills & Experience Required
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
Previous experience operating forklifts within a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, hardworking, and proactive approach.
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
