Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off nights
Our client is looking to recruit a Shunter/Cleaner to join their Bus Presentation Team in Bournemouth. You will be flexible, self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative. You will also enjoy working as part of a dedicated team ensuring their buses are prepared for service.
This role would suit someone with experience as a:

Shunter or Yard Operative
-
Bus, Coach, PSV or HGV Driver
-
Vehicle Cleaner or Valeter
-
Fueller or Refuelling Operative
-
Depot Operative
-
Transport or Logistics Operative
-
Warehouse or Night Shift Operative
-
Commercial Vehicle Assistant
Previous commercial experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided, so we are also interested in reliable candidates with a full driving licence who are comfortable working nights in a busy, hands-on environment.
Duties & responsibilities of a Shunter / Cleaner:

Moving the vehicles to different part of the depot

Refuel the vehicles on their return to the depot

Ensure the vehicle's interior meets our high standard of cleanliness

Wash the vehicle exterior – using the mechanical wash

Park the vehicle safely in the depot
