Thrive Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Picker Packer / Goods In Operative to join a busy and well-established warehouse operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a consistent 3 on / 3 off shift pattern.
The Role
Working as part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including picking and packing customer orders, receiving and checking incoming deliveries, moving stock around the warehouse and ensuring goods are stored correctly.
You will also be responsible for checking quantities and product details, preparing goods for dispatch, maintaining accurate stock records and keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
Receiving incoming goods and checking deliveries against paperwork.
Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch.
Moving and storing stock safely within the warehouse.
Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Following company procedures and health and safety requirements.
About You
Previous warehouse, picking, packing or goods-in experience is essential.
You will need to be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. Good attention to detail is important, along with the ability to work as part of a team and manage your workload effectively.
The successful candidate must be flexible and able to commit to the 3 days on / 3 days off, 7am–7pm rota, including weekends and bank holidays where required.
