A day in the life of a CAD Technician
Work closely with the wider team members to ensure accurate and precise technical drawings.
Participate in project meetings, offering technical insights and recommendations for optimisation and efficiency.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of drawings into the project system.
Liaise with site engineers, converting survey information onto main drawings for construction / information to aid the works on site.
Adhere to project timelines and effectively manage workload to meet project deadlines.
Conduct regular quality control checks on drawings and models to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in related software technologies.
Maintaining a culture of continuous improvements.

3 years’ experience in a Civil Engineering / Construction environment being proficient id AutoCAD Software.
Knowledge /experience of construction techniques and building regulations
Experience in other forms of software is desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
A strong ability to problem solve with the support of the team
