SEND Tutor - St Helens

Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed SEND Tutor to provide bespoke 1:1 tuition to a learner in St Helens.
This opportunity is suited to an educator who enjoys building trust with learners and can create a calm, encouraging environment where they feel able to make progress.
Your Responsibilities
Deliver personalised tuition based on individual learning needs
Prepare engaging and accessible learning activities
Adjust your approach according to the learner's response and progress
Encourage confidence, participation and positive learning behaviours
Develop the learner's academic skills
Provide updates and feedback on progress
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children or young people
Experience supporting pupils with SEND
Patient and adaptable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Teaching or tutoring experience
QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional references relating to work with children
