Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Salary: Up to £30,000 FTE (pro rata)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Our client, a well-established business based in Trafford Park, is seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised finance professional looking for a part-time position within a supportive and fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Supplier statement reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Allocating payments and receipts
Assisting with payment runs
Handling finance-related queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
Supporting month-end processes
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
General finance and accounting support as requiredPerson Specification
Previous experience working within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger or similar role
Strong understanding of transactional finance processes
Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
