More about your role
As a Housing & Wellbeing Advisor, you'll play a vital role in supporting older people to live independently, safely and confidently within one of our Later Life Living services. You'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming, vibrant community where customers feel valued, connected and empowered to maintain their independence.
You'll build strong relationships with customers, their families, local partners and support agencies, ensuring individual needs are understood and regularly reviewed. You'll coordinate support services, promote customer engagement, organise activities that reduce social isolation and encourage active participation within the community.
Alongside delivering an excellent customer experience, you'll manage all aspects of tenancy sustainment including lettings, rent and service charge administration, void management and property inspections. You'll oversee health and safety compliance, support building maintenance and work closely with contractors and care providers to ensure a safe, high-quality environment for customers.
You'll also represent Living Plus with key external stakeholders, help promote the service locally, support occupancy targets and contribute ideas that enhance service delivery and strengthen our customer offer.
Essential criteria
- Experience working in housing, supported housing, retirement living, health and social care or a customer-focused environment supporting older people.
- Experience of managing tenancies, customer support plans, property allocations or housing-related services.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety requirements, confidentiality and data protection legislation.
- Experience working with external agencies, care providers or community organisations to coordinate customer support.

A solution-focused approach, strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in customers' lives will help you succeed in this role.
Previous experience within housing, retirement living, supported living, social care or a similar customer-facing environment would be highly desirable.
