Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on passenger and commercial vehicles
Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately
Support mechanical and electrical repairs as part of the team
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics adhering to industry standards
Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues
Support MOT testing, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
Participate in ongoing training to remain current with emerging vehicle technologies, including electric vehiclesRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:
Full UK driving licence held for at least six months
NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Minimum of two years’ post-apprenticeship experience within an automotive environment
MOT testing qualification preferred for the Vehicle Technician role
Previous experience within a main dealership or similar environment advantageous
Strong enthusiasm for learning electric vehicle maintenance and repair
