The Role
Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a respected client seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their finance team on a contract basis until January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working with financial data, providing insightful analysis, and supporting key business decisions through accurate reporting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities

Complete month-end financial activities to support the production of monthly financial statements

Prepare detailed financial analyses and management reports

Support departmental management with financial reporting and decision-making

Assist in developing annual budgets and expense forecasts

Produce staffing forecasts and statistical reports
-
Analyse financial performance and identify key trends

Provide variance analysis and explanations
-
Conduct cost analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and compliant with internal requirements
What We're Looking For

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
-
Relevant professional finance experience at an intermediate level
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting

Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders

Progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is advantageous
