Fire Alarm Service Engineer

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established fire and life safety business covering London and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for an engineer with strong fault-finding abilities, experience servicing a variety of fire alarm systems, and knowledge of AOV/smoke control systems. You'll be responsible for maintenance, small works, compliance inspections, and supporting clients with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and fault-find on fire alarm systems.

Carry out small works and system modifications.

Replace and commission conventional, addressable and wireless devices.

Download, upload and configure fire alarm panels.

Conduct fire alarm surveys and identify upgrade opportunities.

Complete maintenance reports and compliance documentation.

Test and verify Cause & Effect (C&E) programming.

Ensure all work complies with BS5839 and industry standards.
Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
Fire Alarm Panel Experience
Knowledge of the following systems is required:
EDA
Kentec
C-TEC
Haes
Advanced
Morley
Experience with additional manufacturers is advantageous.
Wireless Fire Systems
Experience with:
Hyfire
EMS
Zerio
Additional wireless system experience is beneficial.
AOV & Smoke Control Systems
Knowledge of:
