Machine Operative
Location: Runcorn
Pay: £12.72
Shifts: 7am - 4pm , early finish on Fridays
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday
Search Recruitment are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing client based in Runcorn.
Work within a busy manufacturing environment producing PPE and garments
Operate industrial sewing machines and injection moulding equipment
Work with zips, fabric and other materials
Carry out repetitive production tasks
Complete quality checks on finished products
Follow production and health & safety procedures
The Role
Operating industrial sewing machines
Working with zips, fabric and other garment materials
Feeding materials through machinery
Carrying out repetitive sewing and production tasks
Operating injection moulding machinery
Ensuring materials are positioned correctly
Checking machinery is operating properly
Carrying out visual inspections of zips, garments and moulded components
Trimming excess material where required
Following production and health & safety procedures
Keeping the working area clean and tidy
About You
Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines is desirable
Experience working with zips, fabric or textiles is desirable
Experience working with injection moulding machinery is desirable
Manufacturing or production experience is beneficial
Comfortable carrying out repetitive, hands-on work
Good attention to detail
Practical and willing to learn
Reliable and hardworking
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Comfortable working on your feet for the majority of the shift
Flexibility to work days or rotating shifts depending on the position available
