Secondary Tutor - Chester
Location: Chester
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated Secondary Tutor to provide flexible 1:1 educational support to a learner in Chester.
The role would suit an experienced teacher or tutor who can build strong rapport with young people and deliver lessons that are appropriately challenging, engaging and personalised.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver individualised secondary-level tuition
Plan sessions around the learner's current attainment
Support development across core academic subjects
Identify learning gaps and areas requiring intervention
Adapt teaching strategies and resources
Promote confidence and positive engagement
Monitor progress throughout the tuition programme
Requirements
Experience teaching or tutoring at secondary level
Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum
Previous 1:1 tuition experience desirable
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to motivate and engage learners
QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience preferred
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional references relating to work with children
