The Role - As HR Co-Ordinator, you’ll provide a broad range of HR support and advice, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing expert advice across employee relations, including performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, restructures and redundancies
Advising managers and employees on family-friendly policies, including maternity and flexible working
Supporting effective absence management and return-to-work processes
Conducting exit interviews and using feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities
Supporting recruitment, interviewing and candidate assessment activity
Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Supporting performance management and annual review processes
Researching and introducing new HR initiatives and best practice
Producing regular HR reports and analysing people data
Supporting monthly payroll processes and ensuring HR data is accurate
Providing general HR administration and day-to-day support across the employee lifecycleYou’ll ideally have:
3+ years' practical experience in a generalist HR role
CIPD qualification, part qualification or equivalent relevant HR experience
Strong and current knowledge of UK employment legislation
Experience managing a broad range of employee relations matters
Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Exposure to organisational change and change management
Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR data and reporting
Experience using HRIS and payroll systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A confident, consultative approach with the ability to influence at all levels
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Resilience and discretion when dealing with sensitive or complex situations
Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition
An understanding of performance management and employee developmentMost importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and providing practical HR solutions, rather than simply following process.
