Robertson Baxter is a well-established financial planning firm and part of the Benchmark family. We are looking for a Client Support Executive to join our growing team in Huddersfield, supporting Financial Planners and Paraplanners to deliver a first-class service to our clients.

As part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in supporting clients throughout their financial planning journey, from onboarding and administration through to ongoing reviews and servicing.
What you'll do
Support Financial Planners before, during and after client meetings
Prepare meeting packs, agendas, review documents and client correspondence
Act as a key point of contact for clients on administrative matters
Manage client onboarding activities, including welcome packs, portal access and initial checks
Keep clients informed with proactive updates on applications, reviews and ongoing work
Process new business applications and maintain accurate client records
Monitor applications, transfers and provider requests to keep cases progressing
Produce client review reports and supporting documentation
Process adviser charging instructions and fee administration activities
Validate investments and valuations to maintain data accuracy
Manage incoming post, provider correspondence and client communications
Support telephone enquiries from clients and external providers
Prepare and issue Letters of Authority
Complete Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
Submit and maintain compliance documentation in line with company procedures
Maintain accurate and audit-ready client files
Support regulatory and governance requirements
Gather information, quotations and illustrations from providers
Assist with cashflow modelling data preparation
Support the preparation of recommendation reports and suitability letters
Produce standard suitability reports, review letters and fund switch documentation
Prepare cost and charge disclosures
Maintain high standards of data quality across client systems
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
Previous experience in a financial planning, wealth management, banking or financial services administration role
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to build positive relationships with clients, providers and colleagues
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
Basic understanding of FCA regulations and Treating Customers Fairly principles
An interest in financial planning and wealth management
Progress towards, or an ambition to achieve, the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning would be advantageous
