About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Sales Order Processor to join a busy and growing team based in Chesterfield (S41). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or order processing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting both the sales and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities

Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.

Entering customer and order information onto internal systems.

Liaising with customers regarding order updates, delivery schedules and queries.

Coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

Handling incoming telephone calls and email enquiries.

Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation.

Raising invoices and processing related paperwork.

Resolving any order discrepancies or delivery issues.

Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements

Previous experience in sales order processing, customer service or administration.

Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.

Competent with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.

Experience using ERP, CRM or order management systems would be advantageous.
