We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a 278 works scheme in Tipton, with a start available tomorrow for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying works accurately

Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions

Working from engineering drawings and specifications

Completing site measurements and quality checks

Supporting the Site Manager with technical requirements

Liaising with subcontractors and site teams

Maintaining accurate site records and documentation

Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways/civil engineering projects
-
Experience with Section 278 (S278) works is highly desirable
-
Strong setting-out experience
-
Competent with relevant surveying equipment
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
-
Relevant engineering qualifications
-
CSCS card
-
Full UK driving licence preferred
Package

£300–£400 per shift, depending on experience
