A-Level Tutor
Support Students Through Advanced Study and Exam Preparation
We're looking for an experienced A-Level Tutor to support young people across West Sussex through personalised 1:1 tuition.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide tailored academic support to learners studying A-Level qualifications across a range of subjects. Many students require alternative educational provision and benefit from a flexible approach that helps them build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge, and achieve their academic goals.
We're particularly interested in tutors who can support learners in:
Crawley
Worthing
Horsham
Chichester
Bognor Regis

Level: A-Level
Start Date: September
Hours: Flexible
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
Strong knowledge of one or more A-Level subjects
Experience teaching or supporting post-16 learners
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions
Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within West Sussex
