Triton Recruitment are currently looking for a Goods In Operative in Tockwith.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or goods in experience who is looking for a long-term role.
Hours:
Duties include:

Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

Unloading deliveries safely
-
Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues
-
Recording deliveries accurately using warehouse systems/scanners
-
Ensuring goods are correctly labelled and stored
-
Stock rotation and following FIFO procedures
-
Maintaining accurate stock records
-
Supporting stock checks and inventory counts
-
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
-
Liaising with suppliers and other departments regarding deliveries
-
Following all company health & safety procedures
-
Other general warehouse duties as required
The ideal candidate:
-
Previous warehouse or Goods In experience is preferred
-
Experience within food/FMCG would be advantageous
-
Good attention to detail
-
Reliable and punctual
-
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
-
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
-
Experience using warehouse systems or scanners is advantageous
-
Forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided following the probationary period
