We're looking for an experienced EICA Engineer with a strong Instrumentation & Control (C&I) background to join the Turbine Hall delivery team at Hinkley Point C.
This is a genuine long-term opportunity on one of the most technically demanding engineering projects in Europe. Turbine Hall 1 is currently underway, with Turbine Hall 2 to follow, providing excellent continuity of work.

The role
You'll provide technical leadership across Control & Instrumentation engineering, including:

Developing cost-effective technical solutions

Producing C&I design philosophy and design documentation

System architecture design and design substantiation
-
Safety case assessments and compliance with technical standards

Equipment specification, qualification and design justification
-
Reviewing and verifying engineering documentation
-
Managing obsolescence and lifetime considerations within system design

Acting as the technical point of contact for allocated projects

Representing the business in client and subcontractor meetings
We're looking for
-
Strong EICA / C&I engineering experience within highly regulated industries

Experience producing detailed design and technical documentation
-
Excellent understanding of system architecture, equipment qualification and safety compliance

Ability to engage confidently with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams

Nuclear experience is advantageous, although applicants from other highly regulated sectors will also be considered
