Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer required for a project in the Brighton area
This is a permanent position with follow on projects in London.
Looking for applicants who have over 3 years recent and relevant experience and previous experience on new build hotels and large mixed use residential schemes with RC Frame.
Key Responsibilities

Ensuring accurate setting out and levelling of the works in accordance with drawings / specifications

Ensuring all drawings and information relating to your area of work are accurate and up to date.

Reviewing Architect/Engineer/Services/Sub-Contractor drawings, ensuring coordination and integration.

Ensuring quality control and testing of work and materials is carried out in accordance with the specification requirements.

Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with the Construction Programme.

Carrying out checks on works, prior to and following any concrete pours.

Fulfilling the role of Temporary Works Coordinator as and when required.

Acting as the main technical advisor, directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of sub-contractors when required and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Liaising with local authorities as appropriate, ensuring compliance with local construction regulations

Delivering induction and toolbox talks on site

Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records

Fulfilling the role of mentor as and when required.

Supervising on site as required, where appropriate training in site supervision has been completed
