Location: Bristol, BS1
Contract: Temporary, initially 3 months
Hours: 37 hours per week
Positions: 3
Working pattern: Hybrid – office, onsite and home working
Driving licence: Required – pool car available
DBS: Standard DBS required
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy Tenancy Management Team.
You will manage a designated housing patch, overseeing tenancies from start to finish and providing support to tenants to help sustain their tenancies.
The role will involve dealing with tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour, hate crime, complaints and complex housing matters, while working closely with tenants, colleagues and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a designated patch of tenancies and housing sites.

Manage and prioritise a varied caseload.

Deal with tenancy breaches, ASB and hate crime.

Identify tenant support needs and make appropriate referrals.

Handle complaints and complex enquiries.

Work with residents, partner agencies and other professionals.

Attend multi-agency meetings, case conferences and resident groups.

Maintain accurate housing and case-management records.

Support initiatives to improve local communities and housing estates.
About You
You will have previous experience within housing, public-sector or third-sector services, along with an understanding of tenancy management and relevant housing legislation.
You will also have experience managing caseloads or a designated patch and working effectively with tenants, partner agencies and colleagues.
A CIH or equivalent housing qualification is desirable but not essential.
