A leading organisation is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing team based in Nottingham. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across England, with a particular focus on bridge engineering and temporary steel structures.
Role Overview:
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, analysis and delivery of structural solutions across a range of bridge and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will contribute to both new build and refurbishment schemes, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake structural design and analysis for bridge and steel structures

Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports in line with industry standards

Lead design reviews and provide technical assurance.

Ensure compliance with Eurocodes and British Standards.

Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders

Assist in site inspections and assessments where required

Ensure compliance with health & safety and relevant design standards
Experience required:
-
Chartered Engineer (CEng) – MIStructE or MICE.
-
Proven track record delivering projects from concept through to construction.

Experience leading structural delivery on projects ranging from £1-10m
-
Strong design capability in different materials.
Working Arrangements:
This role offers hybrid working; however, the ability to travel to the Nottingham HO is expected.
