About the RoleWhat you will be doing
Plan daily collections and deliveries across the network.
Ensure routes are scheduled efficiently and meet customer requirements.
Monitor transport activities and respond to operational challenges.
Maintain accurate transport records and system data.
Liaise with drivers, depots, customers and service providers.
Produce reports and support performance monitoring.
Ensure planning activities comply with drivers' hours regulations and transport legislation.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a transport planning, transport coordinator or logistics planning role.
Knowledge of transport regulations, including Drivers' Hours and the Working Time Directive.
Experience using transport planning or fleet management systems.
Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
To be flexible with hours of work, as evening and weekend work may be required in line with business requirements
