This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Educational Psychologist to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people while working within a supportive and cooperative team.
The Role
As a Locum Educational Psychologist, you will work with schools, families and other professionals to support children and young people with a range of additional needs. Your responsibilities may include:
Completing psychological assessments and consultations
Contributing to Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs)
Providing advice and recommendations to support children and young people
Working collaboratively with schools, parents/carers and multi-disciplinary professionals
Producing high-quality psychological advice and written reports
Supporting positive outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Requirements
Qualified EP
Registered with the HCPC
Relevant experience within an Educational Psychology service
Experience of completing statutory assessments and providing psychological advice
Strong report-writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
