About the Role
ST TALENT is partnering with an established, respected medium-sized main contractor to find a skilled Estimator for their Leeds office. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will prepare robust time and cost estimates for new work enquiries.
The role involves pricing a diverse range of opportunities, including:

High-value, long-term contracts and framework agreements

One-off projects typically ranging from £20,000 to £1,000,000

Diverse sectors including schools, universities, healthcare, bespoke builds, and warehouses
Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of accurate, competitive time and cost estimates.

Independently undertake site visits and assess project requirements.

Engage with public sector procurement and framework providers.

Work closely with senior management to secure future business.
Desirable Experience
-
Experience working for a main contractor within refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out, or new-build environments.

Solid knowledge of public sector procurement and tendering procedures.

Experience using estimating software and tender management platforms (knowledge of Simpro is desirable but not essential).

Clear understanding of framework providers and public sector frameworks.

Ability to undertake site visits and assess project requirements independently.
