The Role
As a Pipefitter, you will play a key role in the installation and assembly of complex piping systems within a highly regulated engineering and construction environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Fabricating and assembling pipework using specialist tools and techniques.
Installing and securing piping systems in line with detailed specifications.
Testing and inspecting pipework to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
Preparing work areas and maintaining strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
Assisting Supervisors in ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to the required standards.
Supporting the successful delivery of critical mechanical systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in the manufacture of small and large bore pressure pipework.
Experience in the installation of pressure pipework, superheater headers, and vessels.
Previous experience working on outages, shutdowns, major projects, or new-build engineering construction sites.
Experience within one or more of the following sectors:
Nuclear
Oil & Gas
Petrochemical
Thermal Power
Heavy Engineering Construction
Essential Qualifications
Full Level 3 Apprenticeship orNVQ Level 3 Diploma in:
Pipefitting
Pipework Fabrication
Pipe Welding
Marine Plumbing
Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
