Trainee Estimator
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000

Are you a CNC Miller or Turner looking to use your CNC skills and make the move into an office role ?
Our client is a successful CNC Precision Engineering company located near Camberley, Surrey and they are looking for a Estimating Engineer. Salary £35,000 to £50,000 plus benefits. The successful candidate should have CNC experience and ideally within Aerospace or similar safety critical industry.
As Estimating Engineer you will be responsible for:

Preparation of estimates and quotations.

Following up quotations.

Contract Reviews to ensure adherence to customer requirements.

Sales order processing.

Creation of parts, BOM’s and planning on the production control system.

Creation of works orders, purchase orders and subcontract documentation.

Placing Purchase Orders for raw material.
-
Expediting the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
-
Liaising with Production and Quality to provide customers with up-to-date progress information.

Gathering and collating data for reporting purposes.
-
Preparation of metrics for reports to Commercial Manager.

General Duties as required conducive to efficient running of the department.
