Vehicle Paint Sprayer:

Full Time / Permanent.

Basic Salary £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience/qualifications

Hours - Monday – Friday (6:30am - 4:30pm - 1 hour break)

NO Weekends
The Role of a Paint Sprayer:
-
Paint Spraying
-
Prepping
-
Priming
-
Filler Work
-
Polishing
-
Colour Matching
-
Paint Mixing
-
Quality Control/Inspection
-
De-grease the area to be treated
-
Sand down the relevant areas and adjoining areas for blending purposes
-
Mask out area to be treated
-
Etch and prime area to be treated
-
Bake the vehicle in the oven, setting temperature according to the vehicle requirements.

De-mask vehicle
-
Flat the primer to prepare the surface to receive top coat of paint
Qualifications required of a Paint Sprayer
-
ATA/NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualified Vehicle Paint Spraying or time served within a Vehicle Paint Sprayer role.

Full valid driving licence
-
MUST have your own Spray Guns and Mask

Previous experience of working within an accident repair centre
