Up to £40,000 DOE | Permanent | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm

We’re working with a growing and forward-thinking fire and security business that is looking for a Service & Installation Engineer to join their team across the North West.
This is a varied role covering the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a range of fire and security systems.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:

Installing, commissioning and servicing Fire & Security systems

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
-
Attending emergency callouts when required
-
Fault finding and diagnosing system issues
-
Working from drawings and job specifications
-
Completing electronic job sheets and reports
-
Liaising with the Helpdesk and wider engineering team
-
Identifying potential upgrade opportunities
-
Supporting colleagues with technical advice
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
-
2–5+ years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry

Experience with Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
-
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
-
Knowledge of relevant BS & EN standards
-
Experience with systems such as Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Morley or similar
-
Good IT and communication skills
-
A professional, organised and customer-focused approach
-
Full UK driving licence
