The Role:

Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes.

Inspection of goods in, goods out, subcontract work and all purchased parts.

In process and finished goods inspection.

Process auditing.
-
Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, maintenance and control of quality-related documentation and records throughout the business.
-
The role combines system inspection and verification activities with broader responsibilities for document control, records management, quality administration and process compliance.

Calibration of measuring equipment.
-
Signing first and last inspection reports.
-
Reporting of non-conforming parts.
-
Working 4-day week, 37 hours Monday-Thursday.

Will include nights one in 4 weeks £22.68 per hour for this.
The Person:
-
Previous inspection experience essential.

Use of measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, thickness and echo meters.
-
Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
-
Self-motivated.
-
Good communication skills.
-
Good housekeeping.
