We are recruiting on behalf of an established specialist engineering and maintenance business looking to add an experienced Pump Engineer to its field-based team.
The company provides a range of engineering, maintenance and infrastructure services to commercial and domestic customers across the region and has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable technical support.

The Role
As a Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of pumping equipment across customer sites.
Your responsibilities will include:

Servicing and maintaining pumps and associated equipment

Working on wastewater and surface water pumping systems

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
-
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance

Inspecting equipment and associated infrastructure
-
Attending breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required

Identifying faults and completing repairs efficiently

Working independently across customer sites

Completing work safely and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with previous experience working with pumps, pumping equipment or associated mechanical and electrical systems.
Ideally, you will have:

Previous pump engineering or maintenance experience

Good mechanical and electrical knowledge

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Experience within a field service or maintenance environment

A proactive and reliable approach to work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to participate in an on-call rota
-
Flexibility to travel throughout the local region

Full UK driving licence
