We are currently seeking an experienced Working Site Supervisor to join a prestigious construction project in Edinburgh City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Supervisor who enjoys leading from the front — managing a team of Joiners while also getting involved on the tools when required.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Joiners on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a working supervisory position, so you'll be expected to manage and coordinate the team while also assisting with joinery duties as required.
Key responsibilities include:

Supervising and coordinating a team of Joiners

Working alongside the team and assisting with joinery duties

Ensuring work is completed to the required quality and programme

Coordinating daily activities and allocating tasks

Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site

Liaising with Site Management and other trades

Monitoring progress and reporting any issues

Leading by example and maintaining a positive site environment
Requirements

SSSTS minimum qualification
-
Valid CSCS card
-
Proven experience supervising Joiners on construction projects

Strong joinery background with the ability to work on the tools

Good understanding of site health & safety requirements

Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on

Reliable, organised and professional approach
