HGV Class 2 Skip Driver
Location: Harlow, CM20
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm
Optional Saturday Overtime: 6:30am – 1:00pm
About the Role
Simple Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Harlow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver, collect, and transport skips to and from commercial and residential customer sites.

Safely transport and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.

Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.

Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

Follow all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.

Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times.
Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.

Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous skip driving experience is essential.

Good knowledge of UK driver hours and road safety regulations.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Strong customer service and communication skills.
What We Offer

£19.50 per hour.

Monday to Friday working pattern.

Day shifts: 6:30am – 5:00pm.
