We are currently looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a busy garment and textile production environment.
The successful candidate will have experience using industrial sewing machines and be confident working with different fabrics and garments. This is a hands-on role involving stitching, sewing and assembling textile products to a good standard.
Key Responsibilities

Operating industrial sewing machines

Using lockstitch and overlock machines

Stitching and assembling garments and textile products

Working with different fabrics and materials

Following sewing instructions and production requirements

Checking your work to ensure a good quality finish

Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Working as part of a busy production team

Requirements

Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist

Experience using industrial sewing machines
-
Good knowledge of lockstitch and/or overlock machines

Experience working with garments, fabrics or textiles

Good attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

Reliable and hardworking
-
Full-time, long-term position.
