Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Shot Blaster to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Clitheroe area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, ongoing position on a permanent day shift of 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, offering an excellent work-life balance with no weekend work.
The Role
As a Shot Blaster, you will play a key role in preparing metal components for the next stage of the manufacturing process. Working on the 7:00am – 4:30pm day shift, you will be responsible for ensuring products are cleaned and finished to a high standard.
Your duties will include:

Operating shot blasting machinery safely and efficiently.

Preparing metal fabrications and components by removing rust, scale, paint, and other surface contaminants.

Loading and unloading materials into the shot blasting machine.

Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met.

Carrying out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.

Following production schedules to meet daily targets.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Shot Blaster or within a similar manufacturing or engineering environment.

Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

A good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing setting.

Forklift experience is beneficial but not essential.
