🕒 Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays
We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy commercial vehicle operation in the Portsmouth area.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong HGV technical knowledge and commercial workshop experience looking to take the next step in their career.
🔧 The Role

Coordinate the day-to-day running of the workshop

Allocate jobs and manage workshop resources

Lead and support workshop staff
-
Monitor productivity, quality and performance

Work towards KPIs, budgets and targets

Liaise with Service, Parts and Management teams

Ensure high standards of safety and customer service
✅ About You

Previous commercial workshop management/control experience

Strong HGV technical knowledge essential

Automotive industry experience essential

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Able to prioritise and multitask

Experience working with KPIs and targets

Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
