40 hours paid per week

Overtime and travel paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate

Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes and before the final 30 minutes of the day

Regular work across a varied range of commercial and retail properties
Responsibilities

Complete painting and decorating work internally and externally
-
Prepare surfaces and carry out finishing work to a high standard

Complete general property maintenance and minor repairs where required

Additional work such as tiling, plastering, patching or minor carpentry would be beneficial

Work across shopping centres, commercial properties and other sites
-
Travel between sites as required

Attend sites promptly for an 8:00am start

Work independently while maintaining a professional standard of workmanship
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
-
Good knowledge of painting and decorating techniques
-
Reliable, professional and able to work independently

Full UK driving licence, subject to licence check
-
Own tools suitable for the role
-
Additional trade skills such as tiling, plastering, carpentry or general building would be an advantage but are not essential

Comfortable travelling between different sites
