Design Engineer - Bury | Up to £37,000 | Permanent
We're working with one of the UK's leading Automotive manufacturers, who are looking to add a CAD Designer to their busy team on a full time, permanent basis.
The role:

Working closely with the Sales and Production departments to produce 2D and 3D drawings and provide day-to-day technical support

Creating part numbers, BOMs, assembly instructions and visual aids for the production team

Implementing engineering changes and supplier/customer change requests

Liaising with third party manufacturers, sending out DXF/STEP files and drawings

Managing budget and costing control

Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities

Maintaining bodybuilding guidelines from OEM manuals

Managing the approval process for samples of new products and product revisions

Maintaining company ISO standards
What they're looking for:

Experienced with AutoCAD/Inventor (Solidworks also considered)

Previous experience within a similar industry preferred

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving and demanding environment

Strong attention to detail with a methodical, organised approach

Good communication skills

Experience with Trailerwin is preferable but not essential

FEA analysis experience would be advantageous
Package:
- Up to £37,000, depending on experience
