Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Adviser to join a rapidly growing automotive business with great benefits, including 10% employer pension contribution and an early finish every Friday.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
HR Administration

Maintain accurate HR records, systems and employee documentation.

Support onboarding, contracts, inductions and probation reviews.

Provide support with employee relations, investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.

Support HR reporting, communications and employee engagement initiatives.
Recruitment
-
Support end-to-end recruitment across the business.

Advertise vacancies, coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication.

Ensure all pre-employment and new starter documentation is completed.

Help attract and retain high-quality talent as the business continues to grow.
Payroll & Benefits
-
Support the weekly payroll process and timesheet submissions.

Maintain accurate employee payroll and benefits information.

Liaise with Finance and payroll providers to resolve queries.

Act as a first point of contact for employee payroll queries.
Training & Development
-
Coordinate mandatory and role-specific training.
-
Maintain accurate training and compliance records.

Support employee development and performance review processes.

Identify opportunities to improve training and development across the business
Person Specification
-
Previous experience in an HR Adviser, HR Officer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail.

Proactive, commercially minded and confident working across all levels of a business.

Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Previous recruitment and employee relations experience.
-
CIPD qualification or working towards one is desirable.

Payroll experience would be advantageous.
